Genevive Julien, PsyD

Dr. Genevive Julien, PsyD is a health psychologist of 11 years, integrating mindfulness, humanistic psychology with evidence-based practices to guide clients towards transformative change. In conjunction too, utilizing a biopsychosocial- spiritual model that optimizes the whole person approach.

She draws from her rich background of growing up in Maui, HI coupled with her diverse professional experience of teaching mindfulness-based curriculums to communities of at-risk youth, indigenous peoples, correctional facilities also specializing in chronic pain.

She currently works at Kaiser Permanente in Pain Medicine, is a research co-investigator of Sha Research Foundation (studying the impact of a meditative tool on anxiety, depression, and lower back pain). Genevive also serves on a mental health committee of non- profit organization Love Peace and Harmony Foundation, committed to expanding mindfulness practices to the underserved population. She is a mother, avid foodie, ocean lover and life-long healer.
