Raman Basanti, PhD, LMHC
Dr. Basanti has been working with clients as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for almost ten years and is currently completing her postdoctoral hours at OpenWorld Psychology in Everett under the supervision of Dr. Soukup-Landeau. Raman has extensive experience in providing trauma-focused therapeutic interventions, individual and family therapy, conducting groups, and psychological evaluations. She currently has openings for therapy (individuals and couples), and assessment (ADHD, autism, learning differences, and more). Dr. Basanti is skilled at providing services in English, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.
Part of her experience includes working with neurodivergent clients. She has worked with this population for two years and finished doctoral internship in a program focused on autism evaluation and treatment. She has completed diagnostic assessments for adults and children who are autistic and has worked with several therapy clients with this diagnosis. Raman uses an affirming approach and continues to pursue training and knowledge in the neurodiversity community.
Raman also has experience working with survivors of childhood sexual trauma, victims of CSAM and human trafficking. She is trained in EMDR, IFS, TF-CBT, DBT, and ACT and her work includes a focus on generational trauma and generational healing in marginalized communities.
